- About the study: In this study, we investigate the neural mechanisms involved in speech comprehension under varying background noise conditions. The insights gained contribute to the improvement of hearing aids and cochlear implants.
- About EEG: Electroencephalography (EEG) is a completely risk-free method for measuring electrical brain activity via the scalp. Contact gel is used to ensure good signal quality. The gel can be washed out on-site with shampoo.
